Thesis statement: Feminism should be discussed openly by society, based on the freedom

of speech, the development of civilization, the existing gender discrimination and the history

of feminist activities.

I. The public discussion for feminism cannot be forbidden due to the freedom of speech.

A. The public discussion for feminism reveals various attitudes to feminism.

1. Some people join the discussion to gain the equality of female.

2. Some people do not allow any offence for women’s independence.

B. The public discussion for feminism allows more poor females to protect themselves.

II. The public discussion for feminism depends on the development of civilization.

A. More well-educated people support and engage the public discussion.

1. More TV series and films adopt the topic of feminism.

2. More famous artists create based on the independent spirit of women.

B. More common people express their opinions easily through the internet.

C. More international organizations set up and propagandize gender equality.

1. National Organization appeals to people to pay attention to women’s rights.

2. National Organization for Women devotes to seeking for gender justice.

III. The public discussion for feminism benefits for the existing gender discrimination.

A. More accurate policies are formulated for women’s rights.

1. UK begins to change the care policy to achieve gender equality.

2. Chinese government change the policy to protect the benefits for women.

B. More people start to think about the discrimination and stereotypes for men.

1. Different opinions for males appear and remind the discrimination for men.

2. The personality of masculinity and capability become the requirement. higher

IV. The public discussion for feminism succeeded in the history of feminist activities.

A. Conferences about the feminism were held publicly to the audience.

B. The artworks about feminism were released to all the people.

C. Organizations recruited many new members to new feminist activities.
