ABSTRACT

It’s a massive collective industry consisting of tourism and other hospitality

in May 2022. The researchers strive to provide determination to identify the Live

experiences of tourism and Hospitality Industry: its effect and implication.

I. INTRODUCTION

Residents overall well-being and quality of life require a deeper

understanding of their perceived social impacts of tourism to determine appropriate

management strategies to promote behaviors in support of tourism development.

Aligning with the 2030 Agenda for sustainable development this paper proposes a

new framework for residents quality of life.

Bringing together multi-disciplinary evidence from environment, social and

cognitive psychology, political science hospitality and tourism, this study critically

examines how residents perceived social impacts of tourism and their interpersonal

trust can make them become more place attached and protect their tourism

resources. The framework proposes that residents perceived a social impact of

tourism exerts a direct influence on residents pro-social and pro-environment

behavioral intentions.

Pro-social behavior is proposed to influence pro-environmental on

residents overall quality of life. The theoretical contributions, practical implications for

sustainable community tourism and sustainable tourism in general and the limitations

of the study are discussed. Perceived social impacts, interpersonal trust: place

attachment, pro-social and pro-environmental behavior, residents support, overall

quality of life.

Being a highly vulnerable industry to numerous environmental, political,

socio-economic risks, tourism is used to and has become resilient in bouncing back.

However, the nature, the unprecedented circumstances and impacts of the Covid-19,
demonstrate signs that this crisis is not only different, but it can have profound and

long-term structural and transformational changes to tourism as socio-economic

activity and industry.

Within the burgeoning industry discussion and research about tourism and

COVID-19, there is a unanimous call to see and use the pandemic as a

transformative opportunity. Industry should not only recover but also re-imagine and

reform the next normal and economic order, while researchers should not solely use

COVID-19 as another context to replicate existing knowledge for measuring and

predicting tourism impacts. Although such studies are important for managing the

pandemic, they do not advance knowledge and/or guide the industry to step beyond.

SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY

training, this could also be the basis of instructor/ teachers and mentor providing

The hospitality and tourism industry is a vast sector that includes all the

economic activities that directly or indirectly contribute to, or depend upon, travel and

tourism. This industry sector includes: Hotel & Resorts, Restaurant & Catering. This

study enhanced on the concept of Greg R. (2010) Cultural Tourism include

experiencing local culture, traditions and lifestyle, participation in arts-related

activities, and visits to museums, monuments and heritage sites.

This book reviews a wide range of qualitative and quantitative research

methods applied to the field of cultural tourism, including surveys. Mystery tourist

visits, visitor tracking, grand tour narratives, collage, researcher-created video,

photo-based interviews, ethnographic and actor-network approaches. Stephen L.

2020 Fully revised Tourism covers aspects of tourism from a modern perspective,

providing students with a range of theoretical and research-based explanations,

supported by examples, case studies and unique insights from industry

representatives.

The many facets of tourism management are presented in a style that is as

relevant for first year students as it is for post graduate students; offering introductory

definitions and detailed discussions of contemporary issues recognizing current

teaching practice around the world. Practice and applications are this needed more

meaningful. It is an established truth that an object handled in process itself more

firmly on the mind than the object merely seen a distance on in or those information.

Thus, practical informs on important feature in any Hotel and Restaurant
