1. PURPOSE
To ensure that housekeeping and cleaning system is in place which ensure that adequate
standards of cleanliness and tidiness are maintained at all times and the risk of
contamination is minimized to ensure cleaning of all areas at all time.

2. SCOPE
All departments and open area of the Bismillah Textiles Limited.

3. RESPONSIBILITY:
a. Management Representative is responsible to check the compliance of this procedure
and review and update (if necessary) this procedure bi-annually basis according to best
practices in industry.
b. Head of Departments are responsible to ensure that no cleaning chemical should be in
production lines so that product without any safety risk can be provided to customer
c. Admin Officer is responsible for to provide training to housekeeping staff and he ensures
that cleaning is done according to housekeeping plans as daily instructed by the admin
officer

4. PROCEDURE:
a. Admin Officer shall ensure that cleaning practices should be completed so as to
minimize risk of contamination. Cleaning and, where necessary, disinfection procedure
shall be revalidated following building or maintenance work, change to equipment or
introduction of new product types.
b. Admin Officer shall ensure that cleaning, pest control and process-aid chemical shall be
suitably identified and controlled to prevent the risk of product contamination. They
must be clearly labeled and no chemicals shall be decanted unless into properly labeled
and identified containers. Adequate storage facilities shall be provided and sited so as
not to compromise the safety, legality and quality products.
c. All sweepers clean all departments and supporting areas according to the instructions
provided by the admin officer.
d. House Keeping Incharge daily visit the toilets, wash rooms and production areas and
checks the hygienic and cleaning conditions and discuss detail of the visit with admin
officer.
e. Admin Officer shall ensure cleaning of the building, utilities, plant and all equipment.
Admin Officer shall assign followings on daily basis:

f. Admin Officer shall provide training to housekeeping staff and ensure Cleaning and
housekeeping shall be carried out by trained personnel in accordance with documented
procedures.
g. Eating & drinking are not allowed in the departments. All internal surfaces of the
buildings are daily cleaned from excessive dust. The cleanliness of the factory covers all
areas of the site with particular reference to production and storage area.
h. Head of Departments and Admin Manager maintain the Equipment’s & Machinery
housekeeping plan. Housekeeping performed on daily basis according to schedule
provided by the admin officer. General Manager and Admin Manager physically check
the house keeping of the machinery.
i. The Admin Manager is responsible to provides hygienic foods, water & neat and clean
areas as per local and international regulations.
j. Admin Manager checks on regular basis the common use areas as:
 Facility floors, company automobile & Transport, walls, ceilings, office
furniture, windows, production tools, Process related Furniture’s,
outdoor spaces, facility roads, bathroom, masque, Drinking water
coolers, kitchen, and eating places.
k. Factory is kept clean and in good order and kept away from physical contamination
hazards.
