Expected performance of the Device

The HVAC layout for the Condo Unit is expected to satisfy the Unit's calculated cooling requirements. The unit sho
uld be cooled at around 13,316 Btu/hr. Moreover, the Facility is expected to be cooled to the desired room temperatu
re of 20 °C.

FUNCTION OF THE DESIGN

The HVAC design's function is to deliver cooled air from the HVAC unit to the rooms via ductwork. The HVAC sys
tem for the Unit is designed to flow and separate the conditioned air from both the bedrooms and the living room.

RESULT OF THE DESIGN

The HVAC design includes an air handling unit capable of producing 600 CFM to 5000 CFM, which is sufficient fo
r the overall unit's requirement of 467 CFM. The calculated measurement of the ducts, diffusers, and grilles is shown
in the computational justification table above. The exhaust blower is estimated to be 66 m3/hr.

SOCIAL BENEFIT OF THE DESIGN

Unit occupants are kept comfortable and safe by heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. Heating
and air conditioning components assist us by maintaining a comfortable indoor climate and adequate ventilation, pre
venting us from freezing or sweating excessively. One of the health benefits of a well-maintained HVAC system is t
he prevention of mold, which thrives in warm, wet environments.

ECONOMIC BENEFIT OF THE DESIGN

The HVAC design has the economic benefit of significantly lowering electricity and month - to - month power bills.
Furthermore, when the unit is sold, the HVAC system will increase the market price of your unit because buyers are
less likely to require a repair soon after acquiring the unit.

Conclusion

The planned HVAC system can provide the necessary cooling load for the entire unit, which is approximately 467 C
FM. The HVAC unit is mounted on the ceiling outside the bathroom, and the system's ducting is also mounted on th
e ceiling. The HVAC design components totaled PHP 181,900.00.

FUTURE DEVELOPMENT / IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE DESIGN

1. Improve the building's insulation.

You should also ensure that your home is well insulated in order to have the most energy efficient residential HVAC
system possible. There is less chance of air escaping by properly insulating your home and the unit's ducting, which
means the unit will have to work less hard to heat and cool your home overall.

2. Setup programmable thermostats and controls.

Smart thermostats and controls can also assist you in making the most out of your energy-efficient HVAC units. The
above system enables temperatures to be automated so that they can alter according to the time of day, reducing the
workload on the HVAC system. A simple temperature change during the day when no one is home can drastically re
duce your utility costs.

3. Maintenance
To enhance their effectiveness and efficiency, HVAC systems must be serviced on a routine basis.
