Re: 140 Mechanical Room
Piping Insulation, Skid and floor painting

Dear Mr. Wright,

After a thorough inspection of the 140 Mechanical Room Piping Insulation, Skid and floor
painting, C. Forbes Construction is pleased to submit this quote to complete the project. Listed
below is detailed scope of the project:
1. Remove damaged arma flex from the 4" Piping where necessary.
2. Remove saturated fiberglass cladding from the 2" Piping where necessary.
3. Remove ½" amra flex tubing where necessary.
4. Remediate 4", 2" and ½ Piping with acetone. Open doors for proper ventilation.
5. Insulate 4" Piping with 1½ arma flex sheeting.
6. Insulate 2" Piping with Rockwool fiberglass and 2"× 3' metal tubing.
7. Seal all the elbows and joints.
8. Clean up the work area.

Skid and Floor

1. Removal of all of the built up salt, rust, and mildew from the Skid metal base.
2. Apply rust cure to the Skid metal base.
3. Prime and paint Skid metal base.
4. Removal of all of the built up salt and mildew from the concrete support base.
5. Prime and print the concrete support base.
6. Clean the floor with Blanco Degreaser.
7. Paint 140 Mechanical Room floor with non-skid floor and deck enamel. (Color to D. Tech
Energy Specifications)

8. Clean up the work area.

Total Cost: Four thousand Dollars ($4,000). This price is inclusive of the arma flex glue, 2"
Rockwool fiberglass cladding, 2"×3' metal cans, ½ arma flex tubing, acetone, primer, paint, rust
cure, tape, and Blanco degreaser.
