Reflection on Eclecticism

Eclecticism is a good philosophy, since we blend all the best teaching approach for our learners
to learn. As an ALS volunteer, we combined and integrate all the subjects with the use of
differentiated instruction giving activities depending on the learners need. But for me whatever
philosophy, teaching techniques or strategy we are going to use it will always the best as long as
our learners are learning from it, and we achieve the aims of education.

I believe that becoming a teacher is possessing the best qualities that can give and influence to
every learners lives, as what I can still remember during my elementary, secondary and college
days my advisers and subject teachers, they teach me to read, write, compute, realized my
ambitions and become a good person, their teaching styles inspire me to stay in teaching and
love every student I have because, during my hard time at school my teacher advisers always
there for me to explain every quarries I have, encourages me to continue and give life lessons to
cheer me up. That’s why that I am now in the field of teaching I want to become like my past
teacher that teaches from the heart, encourage, and inspire every learner.
