00:13, 16/01/2022 Images are more powerful than words

Images are more powerful than words

because: Turning words into images is easier for people to remember.
because: images reach a wider audience, even those who cannot read
but: not everyone can understand the meaning of some abstract images
but: they do not have the same meaning for everyone
because: depending on their culture, people interpret images differently
but: words create images in the reader's mind too
but: you have to be literate in the language the words are written in to understand them
but: You have to have healthy eyes to see the images
but: Words can get the more comprehensive knowledge in detail.
but: It is more efficient to produce creative and abstract ideas using words. For example,
imagine drawing a picture every time one discuss the idea of "infinity".
because: Pictures can give more room for imagination as well as convey its special meaning.
Solution: It will creat more powerful effects, if they are combined together.
but: Images and words can't be compared.
because: Images are more powerful than words in some aspects for they are able to convey
more imaginative information.
because: images affect the way we think more than words can
but: how we think depends on our culture and not the images that we see
because: images are laden with values that appeal to our beliefs and desires
but: an appropriate choice of words can have the same impact
but: words have connotations that can evoke visceral responses
but: a picture is worth a thousand words
but: A few words in a beautiful poem can draw such rich mental image (even motion picture) in one's
mind
but: ads are not made up of images alone
but: logos are a type of advertisement, but they do not need words   (Wikipedia (2019))
because: they need words to say what the images are about
but: words do a better job of getting one's meaning across to one's intended audience
but: images leave a longer-lasting impression
because: they are easier to remember
because: they allow us to communicate directly without any second-guessing
but: some writers embellished their descriptions so much that it's not at all clear what they are referring to

because: they are everywhere we look

because: we live in a world of images, not of words
but: people need words to communicate with every time they talk
but: without any words, images don't have meaning
but: words are not necessary to understand images that are vivid and compelling
