Creating this zine was a "reflective"
experience. At first, I just chose topics that I
thought were the most interesting. However, I
started to use it as a brain dump and get more
creative. It was fun to have fun with this
assignment.

However, I realize now that I have reflected on

work that has affected myself, my students,
and/ or my colleagues. I looked back at an
assignment that my colleagues presented
about the UC Davis police pepper spaying
peaceful protesters. To the assignment on
Liberty University and the treatment that
survivors had to undergo to just report the
crime (and receive no true justice).

With this, I want to leave my readers with the

desire to grow within themselves for something
greater.
