Please note that this evaluation pertains to the participant's progress thus far with developing their teaching portfolio and
that the participant will need to update their portfolio with any additional teaching experiences in the remainder of the
IPTeC year prior to submitting their final portfolio.

IPTeC Requirements:

Didactic (2 hours): instruction to health professionals and/or health professional students


Experiential (6 hours): APPE or IPPE rotation teaching through facilitation of or assessment of
learners delivering topic discussions, journal clubs, presentations, etc. **presenting to a preceptor
alone without learners does NOT count**
Precepting/co-precepting (6 hours): patient care discussions, patient care activities, project
management, etc.

Mary is doing well and on track for completing all requirements!
Didactic: All planned and set for Jan, April, May.
Experiential/Precepting: Served as co-preceptor and already lead topic discussions with student learners; Planned to
co-precept in March for Peds NICU; Also ID rotation in May and anticipate having students with her as well; Also will be
leading case studies at Butler for this semester.

The participant has developed a teaching philosophy that is clear, concise, and reflective. The participant
has considered his or her own personal approach to teaching and precepting.
