    ASSIGNMENTS -13 & 14

    Ms. Alesha is a saree designer having her store in a posh locality of Jaipur.
    She buys raw materials from a cloth dealer M/s. Ramjee Shyamjee, located in
    Delhi, on credit as per the rules of trade. Alesha has a pending payment of
    Rs. 18,00,000 to be made to M/s. Ramjee Shyamjee for which she issued two
    cheques on 12.8.2022. The cheques were of an equal amount. M/s Ramjee
    Shyamjee presented both cheques to the bank. The bank honoured 1 cheque,
    however, the other cheque was dishonored on account of “insufficient funds”.
    Draft a notice on behalf of the M/s. Ramjee Shyamjee for the same.

    Considering the fact that Alesha failed to make payment even after the notice,
    draft a complaint under section 138, N.I. Act on behalf of your client M/s
