SECTION 1 – General features and illustrations

1. Pyrotek will provide engineering and manufacture for an Under Heated holding furnace. The
furnace capacity is 2500 Kg
2. The new complete lower unit will consist of a pre-cast working liner, back up liner, insulation
package and fabricated steel shell
3. Complete insulated Dip well cover that is operated by a manual hand-winch system
4. Complete insulated Heat well cover that is operated by a manual hand-winch system
5. Complete insulation Fill well cover that is pneumatically operated using a mechanical hand valve
6. Complete insulated cleaning cover which will be manually removed for cleaning/degassing.
7. Complete insulated Filter cover with a filter access cap for use with a BPF (Bonded-Particle Filter)

9. Three (3) 15kW heaters, producing a total of 45kW power capacity in the furnace
10. Each heater will be supplied with an over-temperature protection thermocouple.
11. A drain, with a mechanically operated plug mechanism
12. Metal level detection
13. There will be a junction box mounted on the furnace for signals and power.
14. One 60kVA Transformer (Must supply 90 amps)
15. Electrical Controls will be in a control panel, which will include:
a. Main lockable fused disconnect
b. 3 Phase power present indicator
c. 3 independent heater over temperature controls
d. 3 Watlow SCR’s
e. 3 contactors
f. Heater over temperature warning alarms
g. Metal temperature high/low warning alarms

 SECTION 2 – Pricing

- Supervision of the rigging and placing of equipment
- Supervision and assistance of electrical contractor to wire equipment
- Installation/packing of insulation of heating elements
- Electrical hook up from junction box to heaters, TC’s and level sensors
- Installation of all covers and mechanical cover lifting devices
- Initialization and monitoring of the preheat schedule
- Auto-tune of heater controller in PLC program after preheat is complete
- Installation of filter
- Provide supervision of furnace preheat (5 days considered)

Training Session for All Shifts No Charge

Includes:
- Training on control panel function, errors and fault resets
- Training on installation heaters, heater protection tubes
- Training on maintaining of filter and filter changes
- Training on cleaning of furnace

 SECTION 3 – General Notes

The following items are not offered with this proposal

1. Electrical contract work responsible part is still being determined

2. System Customization
a. The base system is not customizable without incurring additional engineering charges. Pyrotek
welcomes all input from our customers and where able can adjust our base design to accommodate our
customer’s requests.
3. All customization work shall be performed on a Time and Material basis.
a. Examples of changes that may incur these charges, include but are not limited to:
i. Custom configuration of covers
ii. Additional covers required
iii. Modifications to existing design
iv. Changes to the overall footprint
4. Facility Construction Drawings
a. Pyrotek shall provide a system general arrangement drawing showing where connection points to
the trough shall occur
b. It is the customer’s responsibility to develop any requisite facility or installation drawings their
contractor may require to install Pyrotek’s covers
c. Pyrotek shall not provide any foundation drawings necessary to support the system needed.

 SECTION 4 – Estimated Schedule

1. Delivery of the equipment 16 weeks after receipt of signed approval drawings for 1 furnace. This
schedule is subject to change by negotiation upon placement of a purchase order.

2. Upon receipt of a purchase order, Pyrotek will provide a detailed Gantt chart for the total project. This
schedule will be a living document subject to revision based on the final scope of supply and the
engineering phase of the project.

3. Customer is welcome to witness the final system check at Pyrotek – Mexico prior to shipment. Pyrotek
will provide Customer with scheduled inspection dates. If customer is not available on schedule dates, the
final delivery is subject to change based on customer availability.

25% - Upon customer approval of design

40% - Upon shipment of equipment

10% - Upon completion of successful start-up

All Terms and Conditions of Sale associated with this equipment are enclosed with this proposal. These
Terms and Conditions are the only Conditions of Sale that shall constitute the agreement for this sale.
Any changes to these conditions must be agreed to in writing by Pyrotek. We also reserve the right to
review the prices, delivery etc., if changes occur through delays not of our own making or any change in
specification. Terms and conditions subject to change. The most current terms and conditions are available

This proposal shall be open for acceptance for a period of 21 days from the date indicated on the front of
this document. If this proposal is not accepted within the 21 day period, all terms of this proposal including
but not limited to pricing, will be subject to change.

Sixteen weeks ARO and terms agreement

Warranty
Warranty as per Pyrotek Engineered Systems Conditions of Sale of Goods and Services apply to this sale.
The warranty on the relines is the same as below minus the control system.
