Confirm that safety rules, emergency
1 information and evacuation routes are
prominently displayed.
Keep doorways, walkways and evacuation
3 exits clear and wide.
Check if external exit doors can be opened
4 from the inside without a key and
emergency fire exits are signed.
Ensure that fire extiguishers are easily
5 accessible, signed, regularly tested and of
the appropriate type.
Ensure emergency lights are available and
6 functional.
Review the availability and content of the
7 first aid kit.
