Activity 1

I. Direction: Cite at least 5 issues , concerns or problems that you have


encountered

A. At Home
1. Misunderstanding with my siblings when I cannot do my tasks
2. Too many paper works on my home learning program
3. Lack of needs at home
4. Staying at home alone most of the time
5. Troubles in cleaning my mess

B. In the Community
1. Waste management problems
2. Keeping the community clean
3. Neighbors who are alaways drunk
4. Iresponsible parents in supporting their children’s studies
5. Community leaders and members participation on the program od the
barangay

II.
1. A good research gives evidence that is quality, ethical, stands up to
analysis and can be used to inform policy making. It should observe to the
principles of professionalism, transparency, accountability and auditability.

2. We need to conduct a research to provide new information or to answer a


question about how we learn, behave and function with the end-goal of
benefitting society. This is to find solution to the problems.

3. Research is beneficial to help in developing or improving new tests for


diagnosis, treatments and processes and solutions to the problems, issues
and concerns.

4. Even athletes or an artists still need to conduct research for improvement


and to address problems encountered in the field or in the areas.
Activity 2
I.
1. The ethical issues to be observesd is the environmental and animal care.
2. The researchers have commited violations on the animal care.
3. As part of the team, we should be more careful in conducting experiments
when animals are invovled. Proper authorities must be consulted.

II.
1. Research ethics govern the standards of conduct for scientific researchers.
2. It is important to consider to ethical principles in order to protect the
dignity, rights and welfare of research participants.
3. Researcher must practice integrity and honesty, upholding informed
consent, beneficence, confidentiality, and privacy, and developing mutual
relationships with researchers.

Beyond Walls 1.

1. Next question would be: Do your parents send you to collect plastic bottles?

2. The interviewee is not interested to study because of the attitude of their


family environment. What is important to them is to survive to live.

3. The concept from the conversation is that parents have t be educated on


their responsibilities to their children in sending them to school and their
responsibility to work for the needs of their family.

4. the research problem would be: The effects of child labor in the education
system.
