Respected Sir/Madam,
 
Introduction, Academic Background and Work Experience:
 
I EKNOOR KAUR (DOB: 26-10-1996 & PASSPORT NO: S4790622) would like to introduce myself as a
progressive and a constructive person with an optimistic outlook. I have an aspiration to eagerly
move ahead in life and establish myself in the technological sector. Therefore, in order to achieve
my goal, pursuing higher education will upgrade my academics and skills.
 
I am a graduate in technology specialized in computer science and engineering (B. TECH) who aspires
to provide I.T. infrastructure and solutions to various platforms. I completed my under-graduation
from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, which is accredited at A++ by the National Assessment
and Accreditation Council, India with 7.54 CGPA in May 2018 that demonstrates my excellent
academic performance. Before that, I passed matriculation from Indian Certificate of Secondary
Education (ICSE) in 2012 and senior secondary in non-medical stream from Central Board of
Secondary Education (CBSE) in 2014 with 94.6% marks and 76.2% marks respectively.
 
As far as my work experience is concerned, I started my professional career in Tata Consultancy
Services Limited, Chennai as an Assistant System Engineer-Trainee from 13th December 2018 to
24th December 2021. After that, I started my employment at Cognizant Technology Solutions India
Private Limited, Gurgaon as a Programmer Analyst from 30th December 2021 till date. During my
employment, I was able to explore my creative and innovative pursuits. Moreover, I was able to
channelize my inherent technological talent into the creative workplace. The journey of my job is
quite interesting and encouraging. Furthermore, I always wanted to bring my educational
qualification to the next level in order to attain foundational knowledge in Information Technology,
So, I have shortlisted Canada to get international education which I believe will be more pragmatic
and fruitful for me in terms of advanced curriculum, latest techniques, global recognition,
international exposure and vast employment opportunities. Hence, to satisfy my urge, I appeared in
IELTS exam on 31st July 2021 and secured overall score of 7.5 bands. Following that, now, I want to
pursue a graduate certificate program in Enterprise Software Development at Humber College,
Canada.
 
Reasons for choosing the course and its relevance:
 
As the world is becoming increasingly digitalized, every industry practically needs its own type of
software and the experts who can create it according to its specifications. Individuals and businesses
worldwide use software for many reasons, and it is gaining lots of benefits. Software development is
important for businesses as it helps them distinguish from competitors and become more efficient.
Moreover, nowadays, it is hard to think of a successful company without effective software
development as it takes business to new heights of success, making its brand visible almost
anywhere through a computer or smartphone. Further, it also helps the enterprise to improve its
sales and service, increase customer's engagement and helps in marketing the business. I have a
keen interest in this program because the field is so broad and encompasses a variety of roles
related to both computer applications and systems. Further, I have creative and technical skills to
create software programs for the different business entities which I have attained by working in a
creative workplace. Besides this, I have done compulsory 6 months project training in Develop Tech
I.T. Solutions Pvt. Ltd by using several software languages and also studied about the subjects
related to Programming languages, Software Engineering, Fundamentals of I.T. & computer
Programming, System Programming in my bachelors, thus, it has cultivated my interest to put my
education to the next level  in order to get upgradation in my academics and professional front.
Hence, it is an innovative and challenging field that has pushed me to opt for this course which is
quite relevant to my previous education and interests.
 
The future program is a graduate certificate program consisting of two semesters which will prepare
me to avail better opportunities in the IT industry. This program will provide me with information
regarding the advanced concepts, skills and knowledge regarding the development of software.
Moreover, I can select a pathway through elective courses ranging from software development, web
and mobile application development to big data, business intelligence and database administration.
Furthermore, in the final semester, I will participate in an industry-based project that is a Cape stone
project. I can showcase my portfolio and cape stone project to the prospective employers to get
employment in today's competitive job market. Coming to the course contents, the subjects that I
will study are: Career Connections, Project Management, Employee Engagement. Further, from the
list of Enterprise Software electives, I have to select compulsory 5 elective courses in each semester.
Thus, the future program offers an ideal platform for up gradation of my knowledge and skills to
scale the ladder of progress. 
 
Learning Outcomes and Career Opportunities:
 
On the successful completion of this course, I will learn to modify, document and maintain existing
software components. Moreover, I will also learn to develop applications consistent with security
practices. Further, I will also learn to develop a website that implements business transactions.
Besides this, I will acquire the knowledge to implement personal and professional development
strategies to improve job performance and promote career growth.
 
The course can lead me to exciting career opportunities. This program will help me to seek a career
in an array of small to large I.T. services and IT consulting companies in India. This program will allow
me to work successfully in a number of professions within various corporate, small and medium-
sized businesses, government, entertainment, education, health care and the not-for-profit sector
particularly working in India and globally such as CronJ IT Technologies, Gencosys Technologies Pvt.
Ltd, FAT bit Technologies, Unified Infotech, ELEKS and many more. I can work in various occupational
categories like a database administrator, database designer, big data developer, business
intelligence report developer, enterprise software developer, junior/intermediate software
developer, junior/intermediate application and software analyst, website designer, web developer,
or mobile app developer. As there is huge demand for professionally trained Software Developers
and Technicians in India, this course will open several new opportunities for me at mid and high
managerial positions in large and multinational companies. As India is one of the fastest growing
countries, my international degree based on practical skills will make me a coveted professional in
the Indian market as well as globally. After the completion of my graduate certificate program from
Canada, I can earn a salary of INR. 1200000.00 to 14000000.00 annually.
 
Language abilities:
 
As far as English proficiency is concerned, I have also cleared IELTS with overall 7.5 bands, with not
less than 6.5 bands in each subset. Further, my language of instruction and learning was English
throughout my past studies. Hence, I ensure your esteem office that language proficiency will not
pose any challenge while studying and living in Canada.
 
Family ties and Level of establishment:
 
I belong to an educated family and reside in Amritsar. My father, Dr. Harkanwaljit Singh is a
government employee who works in Health and Family Welfare Department, Amritsar as a senior
medical officer and my mother, Dr. Hardeep Kaur, is also a senior medical officer in Punjab Health
and Family Welfare Department in Mehta, Amritsar. Regarding my siblings, I have two younger
sisters, Ms. Arshnoor Kaur and Ms. Sukhman Kaur.They are both studying in India. My parents have
dedicated their lives to providing the best education, ethics and skills to us. All of my family
members are the source of my motivation and their support has inspired me to join higher education
in Canada. Furthermore, all my relatives and friends are residing in India. Thus, I have strong family
ties in India.
 
Regarding level of establishment, my parents are having an annual income of approximately INR
4031540.00 (CAD 67192.33). Apart from this, I have paid full fees of the course work and deposited
GIC of CAD 10000.00. Thus, my family has a stable income and financial capability to support my
education. All the certificates related to above declared incomes, college deposit and GIC certificates
are attached with my application. I authorize your office to verify it from the concerned authorities
and financial institutes. Thus, I believe that my strong family ties and level of establishment can well
assure my intention to enter Canada as a temporary resident with the sole objective of gaining the
best knowledge and skills.
 
Immigration history:
 
As far as my travel history is concerned, I have never made any application for any nation. So, my
application has neither been rejected nor denied by any nation.
 
Why Canada and Humber college?

prosperous economy with commendable health infrastructure. It has a first-rate education system.

Canada one of the leading studies abroad destinations in the world. Canada is one of the study
destinations which hold international reputation for educational standards. It boasts a wide range of
quality educational institutions for both degrees and diplomas in technical and professional
disciplines. Moreover, the cost of living in Canada is comparatively lower than other countries like
Australia, England or the United States.
 
There are several education providers in Canada,but I chose Humber college because the courses in
this college are the most exciting, interesting and ideally suited to my requirements and ambitions. It
is one of the largest colleges in Canada, recognized and innovator in providing high-quality
education. It is the member of Polytechnics Canada and committed to students’ success through
excellence in teaching and learning. The course curriculum of Humber is one of the best and makes
me fit for the global competition. In addition, the curriculum of my course is the latest, practical and
highly skill oriented that makes me opt it for further studies. It can act as a platform to complete my
higher studies in this field. In short, it will give new shape to my career and personality which will be
quite useful in my future endeavors.
 
I am looking forward for well and meaningful studies in Canada and request you to consider my
