Addendum 1: 07-05-2010 to

DS/EN 1990 DK NA:2010-05

National Annex to
Eurocode: Basis of structural design
_______________________________________________________________________

This addendum specifies amendments and additions to the National Annex mentioned above. The
addendum enters into force on 2010-05-31. The addendum will be incorporated into the next
revision of the National Annex.

Table A1.1 - Recommended values of ψ factors for buildings
”30 kN” is changed to ”35 kN” both (two) places in the table.

Table A1.2(C) and the associated notes are changed to:

”Table A1.2(C) - Design values of actions (STR/GEO) (Set C), see note 2”

#) where unfavourable (0 where favourable)

NOTE 2 - The design values of actions are used only in connection with Set A2 in the NA to EN 1997-
1 where partial factors are applied to KFI for ground parameters as well as for structural materials.

NOTE 3 - The characteristic values of all permanent actions from one source are multiplied by γGj,sup if
the total resulting action effect is unfavourable and by γGj,inf if the total resulting action effect is
favourable. As an example all actions originating from the self weight of the structure may be
considered as coming from one source; this also applies if different materials are involved.

NOTE -
The partial factors in Table A1.2(B) correspond to Set A1 in the NA to EN 1997-1.
The partial factors in Table A1.2(C) correspond to Set A2 in the NA to EN 1997-1.”

Complementary (non-contradictory) information

Annex F (7) is changed to:

”(7) The sub-partial factor γ 3 is dependent on the inspection level in connection with the production
of components and execution at the construction site. Requirements for inspection levels may be
given in EN 1992 to EN 1999 and in the Danish national annexes thereto. γ 3 is given in Table F.4.
The tightened inspection level is used on the condition that third party inspection is conducted.

Table F.4 – Sub-partial factor γ 3 is dependent on the extent of inspection in connection with
the production of components and execution at the construction site.
