EN 1992-1-1 DK NA:2007. 2nd edition.

National Annex to Eurocode 2: Design of concrete structures -
Part 1-1: General rules and rules for buildings
This addendum specifies amendments and additions to the National Annex mentioned above.
The addendum enters into force on the date stated. The addendum will be incorporated into the
next revision of the National Annex.

National choices
Amendment:
2.4.2.4(1)
NOTE 1 to Table 2.1a in EN 1992-1-1 is changed to
”The partial factor for precast elements may be used, if the elements are CE-marked or manu-
factured in accordance with the requirements of Annex ZA of the relevant standard, and the
manufacture/product shall be certified to the requirements of Annex ZA. The certification body
and the testing laboratory shall be either notified or accredited for the relevant standards.

Amendment:
9.10.2.4(2) Horizontal ties to columns and/or walls
ftie, fac and Ftie, col should be determined as follows:
”For the normal consequences class the value of the tensile force ftie, fac is taken as 15 kN/m at
the top of the wall and as 0 kN/m at the bottom of the wall. Ftie, col should be taken as 80 kN at
the top of the column and as 0 kN at the bottom of the column.

”For the high consequence class the value of the tensile force ftie, fac should be taken as 30 kN/m
at the top of the wall. Ftie, col should be taken as 160 kN at the top and the bottom of the col-
umn.”

1.2.2 Other reference standards
ENV 13670, Execution of concrete structures, has been replaced by EN 13670, Execution of

3.2.1 General
The clause is changed to:
“Until CE marking becomes mandatory non-prestressed reinforcement shall be CE marked or
manufactured according to the requirements of DS/EN 10080, Annex ZA, and the manufac-
ture/product shall be certified to the requirements of Annex ZA. The certification body and the
testing laboratory shall be either notified or accredited for the relevant standards by a body that
has signed the Multilateral Agreement of European Co-operation for Accreditation for the field
in question.

“Until CE marking becomes mandatory prestressing steels shall be CE marked or manufac-

tured according to the requirements laid down in FprEN 10138-1, Annex ZA, and the manufac-
ture/product shall be certified to the requirements of Annex ZA. The certification body and the
testing laboratory shall be either notified or accredited for the relevant standards by a body that
has signed the Multilateral Agreement of European Co-operation for Accreditation for the field
in question.

After straightening, coils supplied according to DS/EN 10080 shall be certified to the require-
ments of DS/EN 10080, for the properties which are changed by the straightening process, in
conformity with the requirements for straightened material in DS/EN 10080.

Application of reinforcement certified to other standards than EN 10080 in connection with the
use of Eurocode 2
Reinforcement certified to DS 13080 and DS 13082 may be used as Class A reinforcement according to
DS/EN 1992-1-1, provided that the following conditions are fulfilled:

• Documentation of the rib area fR shall be provided. The value shall fulfil the requirement in Ta-
ble C.2N and be determined by measuring the reinforcement according to EN ISO 15630-1.

• For welded reinforcement mesh the conditions regarding lap and anchorage lengths shall be de-
termined according to the rules for loosely arranged bars.

• Rebending of the reinforcement shall not take place.

Where documentation is available to demonstrate that the characteristic strain εuk at maximum force is
greater than 5%, the reinforcement may be used for elements requiring reinforcement equivalent to
Class B according to DS/EN 1992-1-1.

Reinforcement certified to DS 13080 and DS 13082 together with DS/EN 1992 may be applied until 1
July 2011.

Application of rust proof reinforcement in connection with the use of Eurocode 2

Rust proof reinforcement certified to BS 6744, strength class 500 MPa, may be used in accordance with
DS/EN 1992-1-1.

As an alternative, rust proof reinforcement certified to DS 13080 may be used in accordance with
DS/EN 1992-1-1 until 1 July 2011.

Application of indented reinforcing steels
Where indented reinforcing steels with a measured fp fulfil the requirements for fr for ribbed reinforcing
steels, indented reinforcing steels can be used in parallel to ribbed reinforcing steels according to Euro-
code 2.

Link reinforcement in concrete piles

For concrete piles reinforcement with a plain surface may be used under the following conditions:
• The reinforcement shall fulfil the requirements for reinforcement specified in DS/EN 1992-1-
1and the associated Danish National Annex.
• The reinforcement is a structural reinforcement which is not included in the resistance to sustain
the static effects to which the concrete pile is exposed.

Application of prestressing steels with a certificate according to FprEN 10138-1

Prestressing steels with a Zulassungscertifikat may be accepted in parallel to prestressing steels certified
to the FprEN 10138 series.”
