Amendment:
2.4.2.4(1)
NOTE 1 to Table 2.1a in EN 1992-1-1 is changed to
”The partial factor for precast elements may be used, if the elements are CE-marked or manu-
factured in accordance with the requirements of Annex ZA of the relevant standard, and the
manufacture/product shall be certified to the requirements of Annex ZA. The certification body
and the testing laboratory shall be either notified or accredited for the relevant standards.
Amendment:
9.10.2.4(2) Horizontal ties to columns and/or walls
ftie, fac and Ftie, col should be determined as follows:
”For the normal consequences class the value of the tensile force ftie, fac is taken as 15 kN/m at
the top of the wall and as 0 kN/m at the bottom of the wall. Ftie, col should be taken as 80 kN at
the top of the column and as 0 kN at the bottom of the column.
”For the high consequence class the value of the tensile force ftie, fac should be taken as 30 kN/m
at the top of the wall. Ftie, col should be taken as 160 kN at the top and the bottom of the col-
umn.”

Addendum 2 to EN 1992-1-1 DK NA, 2010-03-31
3.2.1 General
The clause is changed to:
“Until CE marking becomes mandatory non-prestressed reinforcement shall be CE marked or
manufactured according to the requirements of DS/EN 10080, Annex ZA, and the manufac-
ture/product shall be certified to the requirements of Annex ZA. The certification body and the
testing laboratory shall be either notified or accredited for the relevant standards by a body that
has signed the Multilateral Agreement of European Co-operation for Accreditation for the field
in question.
After straightening, coils supplied according to DS/EN 10080 shall be certified to the require-
ments of DS/EN 10080, for the properties which are changed by the straightening process, in
conformity with the requirements for straightened material in DS/EN 10080.
Application of reinforcement certified to other standards than EN 10080 in connection with the
use of Eurocode 2
Reinforcement certified to DS 13080 and DS 13082 may be used as Class A reinforcement according to
DS/EN 1992-1-1, provided that the following conditions are fulfilled:
• Documentation of the rib area fR shall be provided. The value shall fulfil the requirement in Ta-
ble C.2N and be determined by measuring the reinforcement according to EN ISO 15630-1.
• For welded reinforcement mesh the conditions regarding lap and anchorage lengths shall be de-
termined according to the rules for loosely arranged bars.
Where documentation is available to demonstrate that the characteristic strain εuk at maximum force is
greater than 5%, the reinforcement may be used for elements requiring reinforcement equivalent to
Class B according to DS/EN 1992-1-1.
Reinforcement certified to DS 13080 and DS 13082 together with DS/EN 1992 may be applied until 1
July 2011.
As an alternative, rust proof reinforcement certified to DS 13080 may be used in accordance with
DS/EN 1992-1-1 until 1 July 2011.

Where indented reinforcing steels with a measured fp fulfil the requirements for fr for ribbed reinforcing
steels, indented reinforcing steels can be used in parallel to ribbed reinforcing steels according to Euro-
code 2.
