INTRODUCTION

The use of touchscreen in our day-to-day life is always there. People without
touchscreen are only a few. Touchscreens were built for ease of work and for
saving time. Further forward launched the touch-less touchscreen, to make even
more ease than now. Difficulties faced by the touchscreen users are that scratches
on the screen, failure of display, touch struck etc., can be rectified in this touch-
less technology. This is done using a simple user interface which is developed for
touch-less control over electrically operated equipment. Elliptic tabs with
innovative technology let the users find a good control over the gadgets like
computers, mp3 players etc. The technology has a mounted sensor on the top for
the interaction with the movements done before. Thus, a source of ease, expects
more usage and fun in the upcoming generation.
TOUCHLESS SCREEN
WHAT IS TOUCHLESS SCREEN?

 A touch-screen is an electronic visual display that the user can control through simple or multi-touch
gestures by touching the screen with a special stylus/pen and-or one or more fingers.

 The touch-screen enables the user to interact directly with what is displayed, rather than using a
mouse, touchpad, or any other intermediate device

TOUCHLESS SCREEN USER INTERFACE

 A simple user interface for Touchless control of electrically operated equipment is being developed
by Elliptic Labs.

 This technology lets you control our gadgets like Computers, MP3 players or mobile phones without
touching This unique screen is made by Touchko, White Electronics Designs, and Group 3D.

 It works by detecting your hand movements in frond of it.

 This system depends on hand and or finger motions, a hand wave in a certain direction > The sensor
can be placed either on the screen or near the screen.

 The device is based on optical pattern recognition using a solid state optical matrix sensor with a lens
to detect hand motions.

 This sensor is then connected to a digital image processor, which interprets the patterns of motion.

 Outputs results as signals to control fixtures,Appliances, machinery, or any device controllable

through electrical signals.

WORKING OF TOUCHLESS SCREEN

 Requires a sensor but the sensor is neither hand mounted nor present on the screen.

 The sensor can be placed either on the table or near the screen.

 The sensor can recognize the position of an object from as 5 feet.

 System is capable of detecting movements in 3D without ever having to put your fingers on the
screen.

 Sensors are mounted around the screen that is being used, by interacting in the line-of-sight of these
sensors the motion is detected and interpreted into on-screen movements.

 Gestures are translated into screen commands.

TOUCHLESS SENSOR
 Touch sensor is a clear glass panel with a touch responsive area.

 It is placed over the display screen.

SCREEN COMMANDS
APPLICATION

 Safety from disease.

 Screen would be durable for long period of time.

 It will always be clear.

It makes the work simplest when it comes to drag and drop the files to specific locations.
DISADVANTAGE

 Active in Limited area.

 High cost.

 Wastage of time.
