    This project aims to create a home automation system using an ESP32 and ESP32CAM module to allow remote control of devices in the home from an Android smartphone. The system would allow users to control lights, appliances, and other devices from their phone through a graphical interface, making it easier for elderly or disabled people to operate switches located around the house. The ESP32CAM would also provide home security by capturing images of people at the door and sending them to the phone, allowing the homeowner to monitor the property remotely. Sensors would also send temperature, humidity, and light level readings to the homeowner every second for monitoring the home environment.

    Abstract Project
    The main objective of this project is to construct a home automation system
    using a ESP32 and ESP32CAM, being remotely controlled by any Android OS smart
    phone. As technologies is advancing, houses are also getting smarter. Modern houses
    are gradually changing from conventional switches to centralized control system,
    involving remotely controlled switches. Nowadays, conventional wall switches are
    located at different parts of the house, which makes it difficult for the user to operate
    them. It becomes more difficult to the elderly or physically handicapped people to
    do so. Remote controlled home automation system provides the most modern
    solution. In order to achieve this it will need a Wi-Fi module which is the ESP32 and
    ESP32Cam and a GUI(Graphical User Interface) application on the cell phone to send
    commands to the receiver where loads are connected. By touching at the specified
    location on the GUI, the loads can be turned controlled remotely through this
    technology. As part of the security system of this Home Automation, ESP32CAM plays
    a crucial role by capturing the image of people standing before the door and sending
    it to the owner’s mobile phone. It doesn’t stop there, the owner of this Home
    Automation will be able to get all the information about the house such as the
    surrounding temperature, humidity and the light intensity in the house, updated to
    the owner every second of time.
