Chapter IV

Technical Aspect

This chapter discuss about the technical aspect of the proposed business. It

includes the suppliers, technical process, production needs, building and plan

lay-out, and waste disposal.

The Suppliers

This study discuss the supplies, sources of suppliers and suppliers order flow.

Supplies

The supplies of the proposed business will be delivery bags and food

carriers, and take out containers that protect food temperature. Helmet, jacket

and cellphone holder for the rider who will deliver the food to the consumers.

Sources of Suppliers

The sources of suppliers of the proposed business will be the KCC and SM

Mall of General Santos City. Supplies will be bought in the KCC and SM Mall of

General Santos City because the quality matters for the long term usage of the

proposed business.

Suppliers Order Flow

The proposed business will need a suppliers in order for the business to run

smoothly generally. To manufacture the necessary materials required for the

service, inquire with different suppliers about the costs of the materials required
in order to create a budget. Then, make accommodations to provide and amuse

clients with what they want and need from the service. Also,  ordering and

purchasing the materials needed from the suppliers. The payment for the ordered

material from the suppliers and the pick-up of the materials that ordered from the

suppliers.

Technical Process

The technical process should take into account the realization of creating a

service based on the service's operating standard procedure. This section

describes the proposed business's service flow process.

Service Flow

The proposed business has a service flow. The inquiry of the customer. Then,

the accommodation of the customer needs. Also the service, to make the

customers happy with the service they receive and will be loyal to the company.

Service Needs

This study includes the facilities, equipment, furniture and fixtures, utilities,

labor supply, building plan lay-out, and waste disposal of the proposed business.

Facilities

Facilities are important aspect of production management and control. The

proposed business comprises only the following:

Front Desk- There will be one (1) table for client accommodation.

Lobby- There will be one (1) long sofa available for clients and riders.

Manager’s Office- The manager will have his or her own office.

Comfort Room- There will be two (2) separate comfort rooms for girls and

boys.

Employee’s Office- One (1) employee office will be provided for their

convenience and comfort while working.

Parking Area- There will be two (2) car parking spaces and five (5)

motorcycle parking spaces.

Fire Exit- A separate exit for emergencies such as fires to allow for faster

evacuation.

Storage Room- A spot where materials will be stored for the safety of

equipment.

Equipment
These are the equipments that will be used to run the proposed business:

Computer Set- Employees will use it to respond to emails, engage in video

chats, and work with word, excel, and a variety of other applications.

Laptop- Manager can stay connected to their files and communicate with

their teams without having to re-download documents or log into their accounts.

Printer- This will be used for scanning, copying, and printing high-quality

photographs. Flyers allow for mass market distribution, which means it can reach

a large audience without spending a lot of money.

Electric Water Kettle- This will be used for the convenience of employees

when making coffee to make them happy and productive.

Air Conditioner- An office air conditioning system can assist in keeping the

office temperature stable so that office equipment operates at peak efficiency. In

the case of server rooms, air conditioning can remove heat and humidity,

dispersing that energy elsewhere and ensuring the safety of business's critical

equipment.

Electric Fan- This will be used to save electricity if the air conditioner is not

turned on.

CCTV- This is an effective way to protect the employees from assault and

harassment. CCTV cameras can also be an effective deterrent to vandalism and

theft. In the worst-case scenario, CCTV footage can aid police investigations and

serve as evidence in court.


Fire Extinguisher- This will be used in the event of a fire emergency to keep

the fire from spreading throughout the building.

Office Supplies

There are office supplies to make the employees be more effective and

productive throughout the day. The office supplies are the following:

Ballpen- It is utilized for office-related writing tasks.

Pencil- It is also utilized for office-related writings tasks as extra.

Record Book- It is used to record business-related activities.

Bond Paper- If there are items that need to be printed, the proposed

business would use it for the printer. 

Ink- It is utilized for printing documents, pictures, and other similar materials

so that they are legible.

Folder- This will help the proposed business arrange and separate its files.

Paper Clip- This will facilitate the arrangement of paper sheets.

Utilities

These are the utilities that will be utilized in the proposed business.

Electric Bill- The estimated consumption of electricity is 3,000 pesos.

Water Bill- The estimated consumption of water bill is 300 pesos.

Drinking Water- The estimated consumption for drinking water is 200 pesos.

Wi-Fi - The estimated consumption for internet connection is 2,000 pesos.

Labor Supply

There will be four (4) riders in delivery services, one (1) IT, and one (1)

manager who will guide the employees and manage the company. The hiring of

employees will be in Maasim Sarangani Province where the proposed business

will be established.

Waste Disposal

The proposed business will make a waste disposal management to protect

the environment from the toxic effects of waste's inorganic and biodegradable

parts. The company will segregate the waste to reduce the amount of waste that
reaches landfills, thereby taking up less space. The company will wait for the

garbage truck of the barangay every week to collect the waste.
