I. Identifying Information

Program Title : 2022 MID-YEAR IN-SERVICE TRAINING (INSET)


Program Description : This is mid-year in-service training for teaching and non-
teaching staff of Dauin District is pursuant to DepEd
Order No.29, s. 2021 titled “School Calendar and
Activities for School Year 2021-2022” and DepEd
Advisory dated January 28, 2022. The Schools Division
of Negros Oriental based on the above order also
directed the districts and schools to adhere on Division
Memorandum No. 71 S. 2022.

Duration : 40 hours

Management Level of Program : District/School-Based Training

Delivery Mode : Facilitators will broadcast their presentation using


virtual/on-site platform meetings where school heads and
teachers will have an F2F job-embedded learning
participation via their respective school sites for those
who are scheduled to go on skeletal work force and in
their homes for those who are scheduled to work from
home based on Alternative Work Arrangement.
Target Participants : Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff

Number of Participants : 1 PSDS , 21 School Heads & 270 Teachers

II. Rationale

The primary purpose of conducting an in-service training for school heads and teachers
of Dauin District for the School Year 2021-2022 is to improve the individual's level of awareness
of the current mode of learning delivery through its projects, programs, and activities. In the
same way, it increases an individual's skill in one or more areas of expertise through
professional development activities based on their needs. Moreover, it increases an individual's
motivation to perform their job well by reviewing their performance and make a commitment for
improvement.
Therefore, this training will enable the school administrators and teachers to realize the
importance of having a collaborative environment as learning enablers in the schools through
their improved knowledge, skills, and values in adherence to Division Memorandum No. 71 S.
2022.
At the end of the five-day learning and development, it is expected that the following will
be achieved:

Objectives

1. to discuss parochial related concerns,


2. to review schools’ progress attained on the implementation of educational program,
activities, and projects,
3. to review the performance of teachers and staff to address concerns,
4. to conduct a professional development activity based on their needs, and
5. to prepare instructional materials for reinforcement of the least learned skills.

Expected Final Outcome/Success Indicator:


At the end of learning and development activities, participants have

2. reviewed schools’ progress attained on the implementation of educational
program, activities, and projects,
3. reviewed the performance of teachers and staff to address concerns,
4. attended a professional development activity based on their needs, and
