Esalen II

Pecunia olet
To force peacefulness
Out of this place
Ears full of tears We call our world
Start waving through
The glassy open doors Sadness drops down
From the rocky slopes
The grassy ocean
In this peaceful town
Builds a cathedral floor With the pain
Full of empty graves That will remain
Money does not smell As long as men
They used to say - not women -
rule
To cover the filthy odours
Of richness so poor Maybe one day that might
That castles needed Be far, far away
To be build The world as we know
To hide their guilt Will go astray
And peace will come
For as long as men
As soon as women
- not women - - not men -
rule Start to rule
The drive for power
Will continue to translate I pray for that day
In inequality
The ego will not seize
