Theoretical Framework

EXAMPLE: According to the Cognitive-behavioral theory, student’s perception

and experiences influence their behavioral responses and actions towards a certain

situation while Academic Procrastination is the behavior of postponing tasks. So,

students who might have perceived that math is difficult may intentionally postpone the

submission of a given task or activity regarding math.

Social Cognitive Theory describes the influence of individual experiences, the actions of

others, and environmental factors on observational learning which contributes to behavior

change. It is undeniably that the most powerful tool to influence someone on his social
