"Where will I be?"
by: Patricia Mae Vitto

Here I am thinking about

The way to step out
Rolling around my bed
Hugging me to the end

Slowly wanting to go through

Fix my hand with a virtue
Face the truth beyond my curtains
Conquer another day with faith

Inside my mind there's a war

Words are jumbling from afar
Silent speaking behind my ears
Clearly seen the things I feared

I open my eyes and witness all

The crisis that made me fall
I think about it all night long
Until the sunlight hits my sheol

Wanting to close the windows

Lose it all and hide my shadow
I don't want to spread my wings
Nor travel the furthest cities

I want to try but I just can't

I want to speak as if I faint
I want to feel the appreciation
I want to receive genuine affection

When will I uncover

When will I spread my wings
Let them see my true colors
Signifiying my inner feels

I want to act the way I wanted

Don't want to think what others utter
Fight for what I believe in
For the sake of He who made

Control my feelings and desires

Realign my goals in life
Strengthen my relationship with God
To lead me to the path of life

I don't want to be a part of this world

Where cruelties are mold
I want to spend my time with Him
Pray, worship, and discipleship

I do my best to be steady
Make myself content and ready
As I continue to grow
He is my water and soil

I didn't know when will this end

I just hold on to His hand
I hope I'll see u there
To the place where He prepared
Explanation:

This poem have an emotional appeal that

tackles about my personal life and my
relationship with God. This is classified as
interpretative literature because it helps
me uncover the realities of life and how I
deal with it. This can help us appreciate
more our wins and loses in our life and
continue to thrive in doing what God wants
us to do. In the end I can't wait on the day
that I will hold His hand together with
others whom He has chosen.
