+a. Have you ever been a leader in some way? Share your experiences with the class.

Yes, I been a leader. When I was in high school, I have been a leader so many times but one of
my best experience is to be an Executive Officer of Citizenship Advancement Training in Elias A.
Salvador National High School. I has the 2nd to the highest officer position that have a full authority to
the absence or disability of the Battalion Commander in any causes. I was the responsible to the
preparing of the officer of the day, cadet or cadette of the day and I am the one who assign officers to
command the assorted Grade 10 students. I am also the one who keep all the books and properties of
the Group. Being a leader is not just that easy because you are not just taking a position to be fame or
what. You are committed to the obligations that the position you must to uphold. You are in the position
to serve to the people and be a good example to other to become a good leader.

b. Have you ever met with failure? How did you handle the experience?

Yes, I am. Sometimes I didn’t do all my responsibilities to be a Executive officer because the
conflict to my schedule, so many schools works, activities assignments and other reasons. And I think
that is a failure as an officer. As what I said earlier Being a leader or an officer, you must be committed
to the position you must to uphold. So that I never give up even and have a effective time management
to complete all my task if it`s so hard to concurrently do all my obligation as a student and at the same
time as an officer.

c. What did you learn from your failure?

I learned that if I give-up in my failures, then how do I inspire leadership to others. As a Leader
we must be the good model that we can be able to form a good leaders in the future.
