GENERAL PHYSICS 1
QUARTER 1-ACTIVITY NO. 4
PROJECTILE MOTION
Objectives:
• To design and build a projectile launcher.
• To determine and analyze the relationship among the properties of projectile motion.
Materials:
(List all the materials you used in making the projectile launcher.)
Meter stick
Protractor
Digital stopwatch
Procedures:
1. To learn how to make a projectile launcher, watch the video thru this link:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DYVVQ6spj0w
2. Now, build your own projectile launcher and you can create your own design.
3. Prepare your set-up in an enclosed area.
4. Mark your reference point to have the same place for the launcher.
5. Measure the angle using a protractor and make sure that it is parallel to the ground.
6. Release the projectile and measure the range (x), height (y), and total time of flight (t) of the
projectile. Make three trials and record your data on the table.
Data:

3. Compare the range of the projectile launch at 250 and 650; and 350 and 550. What can you infer from
your data?
