GULAYAN SA PAARALAN PROJECT


NARRATIVE REPORTS
S/Y 2022-2023

INTRODUCTION

The school has been a basic foundation of skills and learning and is the ideal
point for a project. One of the projects implemented by Siembre High School is the
“Gulayan sa Paaralan Project”.
It encourages and promotes the student to plants green leafy vegetables at
home and school backyard garden areas as part of their sharing and implements
consumption of vegetables among their community for a better healthy and balanced
diet.

OBJECTIVES

1. To awaken the student consciousness the realization of the importance of


vegetables, their nutrients, their vitamins and effect of healthy living.
2. To increase their awareness on hunger issues and action to mitigate
malnutrition among their families.

ACCOMPLISHMENT

A. PRE-IMPLEMENTATION PHASE
Student and advisers from Grade 7 to Grade 12 are encourage to have and
prepare a plot they plant different vegetables and the school allotted budget
for seeds and seedlings.

NARRATIVE

student knowledge and skills for better agricultural productivity and sustainable

agricultural practices. Giving environmental education a sustainable and practical


dimension change attitudes towards agriculture. The students learned how to plant
different kinds of vegetables and how to take care of them. They are the one who
watered and took care of vegetables planted in the school garden like okra, eggplants,
tomatoes, pepper, beans and others.
