Script Moving Up Ceremony
I. Preliminaries
Welcome ladies and gentlemen for another milestone in CDSA’s history as we present
our candidates for their completion ceremony. Colegio de Santa Ana celebrating its 36th
anniversary with the theme “Be with the poor, Be like Jesus and Be Missionaries of the Gospel”
takes another lift and opens its doors to a continuous modification.
Now, let us all welcome the Faculty and Staff of Colegio de Santa Ana headed by the
school director, Rev. Fr. Orlando B. Cantillon, our school principal, Mrs. Lennie A.
Montevirgen, the assistant principal Mrs. Criselda P. Cruz and finance Officer Mrs. Amor
S.A. Cruz. The Grade 10 Advisers: Mrs. Ednalyn D. Lizardo of St. Thomas the Apostle, Ms.
Clarence F. Jongaya of Sts. Peter and Paul, and Ms. Charo Remacha of St. James.
To formally start the program, let us all stand for the invocation to be led by John Russel
R. Osio.

Please remain standing for the singing of the Philippine National Anthem to be conducted
by Anne Arnet Ysabelle C. Paguirigan.
This night we celebrate a very momentous event especially to our talented and diverse
students who will be marching their way to stage and receive their awards and recognition.
We shall be giving special recognition to those students who have exerted effort in
maintaining the standard of quality in Academic and Non-academic aspects; have demonstrated
excellent craftsmanship at all tasks; and have shown exemplary good behavior during this year,
2015-2016.

II. WELCOME ADDRESS
To give her welcome address, may we call on Jealine Eleanor E. Gorre. Let’s give her a
warm round of applause!
(after the speech ) Thank you very much Jealine for that heartfelt welcome!
III. Awarding
At this moment ladies and gentlemen, we shall now be giving awards to students who
have demonstrated outstanding performance in craftsmanship. To give the awards for the Perfect
Attendance may we call on our school director, Rev. Fr. Orlando B. Cantillon to be assisted
by our finance officer, Mrs. Amor S.A. Cruz.
REMINDERS
1. During the awarding ceremony, may we request the parents and guardians not to take pictures
near the stage. Only the school photographer will be allowed to do so.
2. If your son/daughter gets more than 1 award, he/she will be called only once to receive those
awards and they will be given in the highest award.
3. Parents, please accompany your son/daughter in receiving their awards on stage.
A. Receiving of Certificates
Let us now proceed to the giving of Certificate of Completion. May we request the president
of each class together with their adviser to receive the certificates.

This award is given to students who have initiated and rendered their service voluntarily
to Sunday Masses and/or School’s Eucharistic Celebrations; have exemplified good character at
all times; as recognized by the school director Rev. Fr. Orlando B. Cantillon and as
recommended by the teachers in CL Department.

principal, Mrs. Lennie A. Montevirgen and the assistant principal, Mrs. Criselda P. Cruz. The

This award is given to students who are official athlete of the school; have participated in
any sports competition in and off campus; have demonstrated sportsmanship and exemplary
behavior in all sports activities; have been recommended by the coach, PE teacher or moderator
and chosen by the players themselves.

This award is given to student who shows special skills in art; have participated in any art
competition or activity on or off campus; submits all required creative works on time, shares
talent/service with others; demonstrates good behavior and recommended by the club moderator
and/or homeroom adviser.
Best in Deportment/Conduct
This award is given to students who have obtained the highest grade in conduct; have
never been involved in any disciplinary case; and have shown desirable habits and exemplary
behavior anytime, with anyone and anywhere.

Mass Service Award Silver Medal

It is but most appropriate for him to give an inspirational message to us especially to our
students and awardees, the father of this school, Colegio de Santa Ana. Ladies and gentlemen let
us all welcome our school director, Rev. Fr. Orlando B. Cantillon. Let’s give him a big hand.

V. Presentation of Classes
At this point ladies and gentlemen, we shall be witnessing the students as they render us
performances showcasing the fruits of their labor and as a sign of gratitude to their parents and
teachers who accompanied them in this junior high school journey.
Thank you very much St. James for that heartwarming performance. Now let us witness the
presentation of Sts. Peter and Paul.
Thank you very much Sts. Peter and Paul. Last but not the least, let us all welcome St. Thomas
the Apostle.
VII. Dinner
We now prepare ourselves for the sumptuous dinner. May we request everyone to please
stand for the blessing of our food.
Please be seated. To make it more organized, we will be calling you by table and you
may approach the buffet table located in the back part of the gym and the rest should wait for a
while.

VIII. Classes Video Presentation
Memories are meant to be remembered and treasured. Let us all watch the video
presentations that have been prepared for us by some students from each section. Let’s all watch
these.
Gratitude is best expressed through heartfelt singing. Let us all listen as the Grade 10
students sing their batch theme song. Let’s give them a big hand.

That was truly a very touching moment for our dear completers and parents.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the following people: Our school director
Rev. Fr. Orlando B. Cantillon, our principal Mrs. Lennie A. Montevirgen, assistant principal,
Mrs. Criselda P. Cruz, finance officer, Mrs. Amor S. A. Cruz, loving and supportive parents, the
maintenance group headed by Mr. Rene Cañaveral, Mr. Alan Bonafe for the sounds, to the
wonderful floral arrangement Dr. Dioneng Mozo, teachers of the Grade School and High School
Department, students and most of all to God Almighty for the success of this memorable activity
and St. Anne.
X. Closing Prayer
At this point ladies and gentlemen, let us call on Angelo Allen I. Guban to lead us in our
