- IMPLICIT DETAILS. Used to describe or


define a general state. These are details that we
can’t really see. These details are implied but
are not plainly expressed.
- EXPLICIT DETAILS. These are specific
details. The details can be seesn and are
measurable. They are stated in the selection or
paragraph.
 ELEMENTS OF A STORY
- SETTING – the time and location in which a
story takes place.
- PLOT – the sequence of events in a story or
play.
- CONFLICT – the opposition of forces which
ties one incident to another and makes the plot
move.
- CHARACTER – the person and his
characteristics in a work of fiction. The ones
who portray roles in the story/selection.
- POINT OF VIEW – the angle from which the
story is told
- THEME – the central idea or belief presented
in the story
 MODAL is a verb that combines with another verb
to indicate mood or tense. A modal, also known as
a MODAL AUXILIARY or MODAL VERB,
expresses necessity, uncertainty, possibility, or
permission.

 Ang TIME SIGNATURE ay nagtatakda kung

kung anong uri ng note at rest ang tatanggap ng
1 beat.
 Ang isang RHYTHMIC PATTERN ay
binubuo ng mga note at rest na pinagsama-sama
ayon sa bilang ng beat sa isang measure.
 Mahalaga na maging wasto at maayos ang
bilang ng mga note sa bawat measure ng
musika upang makabuo ng magandang tugtog o
awitin. Ang time signature ay ginagamit bilang
gabay sa pagbuo ng RHYTHMIC PATTERN.

- When you are counting the rhythm of eight
notes the usual way is to say the word and

 Music conductors help people sing together. They
do this by showing the beat of a song through arm
movements that follow certain patterns. The
