    Submission Note:-

    It is submitted that on completion of five years deputation on 23rd August 2020, Mr. Muhammad
    Ashraf Resident Auditor MUET has joined office of the Director General Audit Local Councils
    Sindh Karachi on 24th August 2020.

    Requisition for new Auditor has already been sent to the Auditor General of Pakistan by worthy
    Vice Chancellor vide letter No.MUET/VC Sectt:/046, dated, 18-08-2020.

    Further it is pertinent to mention here that as per new Act, the post of Resident Auditor is to be
    filled through the office of the Pro Chancellor, Universities & Boards Department, Government
    of Sindh.

    In the mean time office work of Resident Auditor is seriously hampered due to vacancy of post.
    It is proposed that a senior officer from finance section, well versed with the working may kindly
    be designated as Resident Auditor as stop gap arrangement till filling of the post by the
    Authorities mentioned above.
