presentation. You are not limited, however, to this reading material. As you read the materials, be
guided by the following questions:

1. What do you mean by ethics in research?

2. What are the ethical guidelines that must be considered when doing research?

Reflect on your past research activities. In the conduct of your research, were you guided by
some ethical guidelines. Identify which among the ethical guidelines were you able to follow and
were you able to follow? Why were you not able to follow?
