In what the state media referred to as an "accidental" or "emergency"

deployment of air ordnance, a Russian warplane dropped a bomb on a
metropolis with more than 400,000 inhabitants late on Thursday. According to
reports from the state news agency RIA Novosti, the "accidental" munitions
drop occurred while a Russian Su-34 twin-engine fighter-bomber was flying
above the city of Belgorod, 40 kilometers north of the Ukrainian border.
According to the governor of the Belgorod area, two persons were reportedly

An off-duty police officer was killed on Thursday night at a roadside

carenderia in Barangay Fatima, General Santos City, by two unidentified
gunmen. Col. Jomar Alexis Yap, the director of the General Santos City
police, strongly condemned the killing of Cpl. Razul Alongan, a police station
5 intelligence officer. He claimed that at around 10:30 p.m., two males
pretended to be customers of the roadside carenderia and ruthlessly shot
Alongan in the head. Alongan was transported immediately to the General
Santos Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. This

 Monalisa Pagharion, a 9-year-old girl who went missing last Monday
was found dead in Lorenzo, Purok Durian, Apokon, Tagum City. The police
confirmed that the body in a fresh decomposition state found in Lorenzo,
Purok Durian, Apokon, Tagum City is the 9-year-old girl, Monalisa
Pagharion. According to the report, it was found at 7:45 in the evening due to
its foul smell. Tagum PNP Chief of Police Bernardo also gave updates
regarding the killing of 9-year-old Monalisa Pagharion where there is already
a person of interest. The victim's body is also scheduled to be autopsied this
Monday and the incident is considered an isolated case only. This is
