about every cuisine you can think of, including American, Asian and Mediterranean, and they also have
plenty of healthy options.

CENTRO, OBERHAUSEN, GERMANY

The food court at Centro in Oberhausen, Germany is the biggest in Europe. The circle layout makes it
easy for people to walk around before making a decision about what to eat. Apart from all the fast food
chains, there are also plenty of other options, like Mexican, Japanese and of course traditional German.

SIAM PARAGON, BANGKOK, THAILAND

The Siam Paragon shopping mall in Bangkok is a chic, happening spot, where mostly luxury brands are
represented. The food court has to live up to the hype. On the ground floor, you’ll find three different

GRILLROOM
CASA JULIAN RESTAURANTE

Barbecue might not be the first thing that springs to mind when you think of San Sebastian. But, beyond
the cramped chaos of the thriving pintxos bars, the small Basque city serves up some of the best beef
going. At beloved steakhouse Casa Julian, huge slabs of txuleton rib are seared over a gigantic blackened
grill. Thick slabs of yellow fat melt into pools of beefy butter, producing a steak that’s more like a
religious experience than meat.

LA BRIGADA, BUENOS AIRES – ARGENTINA

Few nations respect the cow quite like Argentina. At the tip of South America, beef cookery became an
art form, with experts elevating their craft on the fiery altar of the asado. Every city and household has
its own formula for barbecue bliss, but the best of the bunch has to be La Brigada in Buenos Aires. A
temple to both beef and Malbec, La Brigada is an essential Argentinian experience. Choose from fat
steaks, tender ribs and mouth watering morcilla sausage for a steakhouse event that makes Peter Luger
look like Outback.

WOORAEOK, SEOUL – SOUTH KOREA

Yoogane (Myeongdong Branch) is a restaurant that serves a tasty and spicy stir fried chicken dish with

they serve up the same food. It can often get busy at night and on weekends but with great service that
serves up food quite quick, there is often never a wait for a table. The most popular dish served here is

EDLEY’S BARBEQUE, TENNESSEE – UNITED STATES

Famed for it’s fiery, sweet, whisky-infused barbecue sauces – of which, Bull’s-Eye’s own is easily one of

retaining its own distinct character. Few joints capture this contradiction of techniques and flavors quite
like Edley’s. The original site ranks regularly among the best barbecue joints in the state, delivering a
self-described “tribute to all things Southern”. If you want to try hot chicken alongside dry-rubbed ribs,
this restaurant is not to be missed.

SMOKESTAK, LONDON – UK

Time was when British barbecue meant a four-pack of sad burgers from Sainsbury’s, accompanied by an
octet of aggressively burnt sausages. Not so now. “Smokestak” in Shoreditch is leading the charge in
Britain’s barbecue renaissance. Taking inspiration from the American “low and slow” tradition, the
restaurant’s Anglified southern-style has seen it dubbed the best in Britain by several prominent critics.
Plus, it serves starters of crispy pig’s tails, which makes it all the more awesome.

inspired dishes.

Pendy’s, Bacolod City

When it comes to good food in Bacolod, Pendy’s is the foodies’ choice because it is run by Omon
Maravilla’s family (a family of foodies too). Pendy’s is already an institution in the area, and it is resisting
the temptation to expand to keep its quality and consistency intact.
