3 Highlights
Centralized management
Management of multiple device types: eSight can centrally manage
multiple device types, such as servers, storage devices, network
devices, WLAN devices, GPON devices, and cameras.
Integrated device management: Device information, alarms, KPIs, and
hardware components are centrally displayed.
On-demand deployment of a centralized platform: A centralized resource
management, alarm monitoring, performance monitoring, and report
analysis platform is provided.
Visualized monitoring
Multi-dimensional monitoring: eSight provides alarm panels,
performance analysis, and network-wide topology views to detect
device faults in real time.
Scenario-based monitoring: Scenario-based dashboard, large-screen
monitoring and service view enable users to comprehensively
understand the ICT system status.
E2E fault monitoring: fault diagnosis tools such as network quality
diagnosis and video quality diagnosis technologies.
Intelligent analysis
Report customization: A drag-and-drop report customization tool
facilitates visualized design and eliminates the need for secondary
development.
Out-of-the-box (OTTB): O&M experience and prese s common reports
(such as resource, alarm, and performance reports) are provided to
meet routine O&M requirements.
Self-service data analysis: Year-on-year, period-on-period, top N,
and category-based summary and statistics analysis methods and
various charts (such as bar, pie, and curve charts) are provided.
4 Architecture
eSight boasts a service-oriented architecture and features cost effectiveness,
high reliability, scalability, and ultra-large-scale network management.
eSight provides open integration services, O&M analysis services, device
management services, basic management services, and southbound device
access services.
5 External Interfaces
eSight provides various external interfaces, including southbound device access
interfaces, northbound integration interfaces, administrator login interfaces,
SMS server interfaces, and authentication server integration interfaces for
enterprises to centrally manage ICT devices and implement flexible secondary
development to meet differentiated service requirements.
6 Functions
6.1 eSight Platform
The eSight platform provides a centralized view, resource, topology, fault,
performance, and report platform for devices from multiple vendors. It also
provides northbound alarm, resource, topology, and performance interfaces
to help customers deploy an exclusive, centralized management system,
reduce O&M costs, and improve O&M efficiency.
6.1.1 Resource Management
eSight resource management helps O&M personnel quickly add various ICT
devices or resources to eSight for centralized management or maintenance.
The major functions are as follows:
Resource grouping: Resources (such as servers, network devices,
and storage devices) connected to eSight can be managed by type
or group.
The resource groups feature provides security authorization and
alarm filter functions with the group.
Link management: Link management displays links between network
devices, servers, video devices, microwave devices, and PON devices,
and supports link discovery, monitoring, and configuration.
Power-on and power-off management: Servers and storage devices
connected to eSight can be remotely powered on or off by one click.
Device lifespan management: Enterprises can learn about the lifespan
information of eSight and the managed devices on the live network,
analyze the aging of devices and software, and update devices or
upgrade software in a timely manner, reducing network risks and
manual maintenance costs.
The eSight report platform dynamically displays service data reports in various
charts, tables, dimensions, and metrics. This helps administrators quickly, flexibly
analyze data in self-service mode, monitor the KPI health status of ICT devices or
systems, and quickly learn the overall health status of services for O&M decision
-making.
Report export: eSight allows users to export reports and the data of
a single chart in a report in Excel or PDF format.
Periodic report: The eSight report platform allows users to set periodic
tasks based on the period specified by the customer and send reports
in the specified format to specified personnel.

The network traffic analysis service can display network traffic statues
by device, interface, application, host and conversation to facilitate
network bandwidth planning.
Firmware upgrade: Users can create an upgrade plan online and select
the devices to be upgraded and the upgrade packages as prompted. If
the device firmware version is not the version specified in the upgrade
plan, the plan is automatically implemented to upgrade the firmware
to the version specified in the plan.
6.8.1 OS Management
Provides unified management capabilities for Linux, Windows Server, and
ESXi Server.Allows users to view basic operating system information and
monitor CPU/memory usage, disk usage, NIC, and process list.
7.1.3 Cluster
eSight functions are deployed on multiple servers, and each server is a node.
At least three nodes are required.
This mode is applicable to large networks with high reliability requirements.
