3. What is your opinion towards the topic
considering your professional role?
It is necessary to switch ways how student is
measured especially during the pandemic
through online education for the convenience
of the students, despite the society’s
acceptance, the students face a variety of
challenges.
Interactive discussion between students is a
good example that educators did where it may
lead to a better mutual understanding between
them. This encourages deeper and reflective
learning for students where they can enhance
development which mostly happen if they help
each other in teaching.
Using in games in teaching can help increase
student participation, attention and motivation
of students to set tasks. Games help students to
become a part in class as well as take
responsibility for their own learning. It also a
great way to control the competitiveness
between peers.

Reasearch by the Pakistan Journal of Medical Sciences
stated that teachers were unable to assess student’s
understanding during online lecturing. This is because
they were unable to learn practical and clinical work
that should be discussed physically in lab.
Dr. Caitlin Tucker who an expert and speaker in
education stated that student-led learning is the way
of empowers students to build their problem solving
and analytical skills. One way to achieved it, educators
should give students opportunities to cultivate
resilience in their learning process.
A result from research of Impact on Motivation and
Academic Performance of Game-Based Learning
stated that most students (88%), found that quiz game
Kahoot can improved student’s attitudes towards
learning and boosted their academic scores. In
addition, studies found that virtual games can improve
focus and attention from students with ADHD and
dyslexia.

considering your professional role?
Educational institutions have seen a lot of
innovation. Learning methods have undergone
a significant transformation. Even formal,
traditional colleges had to use their websites or
specialised learning management systems like
Microsoft Teams to distribute their course
materials and conduct instruction. This need did
not just apply to distance learning institutions.
Students were able to communicate with
teachers, access course materials online,
participate in discussion forums, and turn in
assignments thanks to the use of cutting-edge
technology. Teachers can now either present
their lectures live through a video conferencing
platform or record them for students to listen at
another time.
In my opinion, if the difficulties encountered
during this pandemic are thoroughly
investigated and turned into possibilities, online
learning will become more sustainable as
instructional activities become more hybrid.

texts) can you use to support the relevant aspect
and opinion?
Faculty members at these colleges and universities
also reacted quickly by gaining access to a variety of
online resources on remote teaching. For instance,
Stanford University has resurrected the use of pre-
existing tools like WhatsApp, GroupMe, and Slack to
support online teaching and learning. Some
universities' technology institutes and departments
also gave faculty members access to online training on
the specifics of pre-recorded lectures and the zoom
presentation of online classes. Others conducted
training using webinars that covered the fundamentals
of video conferencing and how to utilise the Learning
Management System's (LMS) resources effectively.
We need a computer or phone with a data connection
and an internet signal in order to use internet
resources, but not all teachers and students have
access to these tools. There are numerous options
available to those with no financial restrictions or poor
internet signals, but teachers and students who face
these obstacles will find it difficult to carry out the
educational process. The government, in this case the
Ministry of Education and Culture, offers a remedy by
putting in place educational services via TVRI media.
On the other hand, not all areas are covered by TV and
many Indonesian citizens do not have a TV. Thus the
government must continue to innovate to carry out
the learning process effectively.

The constraints of the pandemic provided an
opportunity for educators and students to
consider new strategies.
Students had the opportunity to create a
specific learning space. Pandemic teaches
students to prepare themselves for technical
glitches.
The educators also do their part to consider
new strategies by being ready to troubleshoot
and let their students know that they are
working on it simply because this is new to
everyone.
In my opinion, the flexibility and learning
possibilities had matched the expectations of
students and educators. It is important to
establish some sort of routine and
communicate your expectations. The teachers
be sure to praise their students for sticking to
their work and schedule. The teacher note that
some students may have connectivity and other
technical issues, as well as time management
issues. Choice and variety are also important.
The teacher let the students choose the tasks
they want to complete and get creative and
keep pace in a live class by telling students to
move.

Research conducted Community College Research
Center proves that “Overall, this online course is
effective,” many courses received a mean score that
was approaching or over 3 points on the 4-point scale,
suggesting that online learning was well accepted by
students and educators through a survey question. In
view of the result that over 80 % of the students
wanted to continue with some online instruction after
the pandemic, the school will advocate for blended
learning in the post-pandemic world. In descriptive
terms, students’ average persistence rate across
courses was 94.12 percent, with a noticeable gap
between online courses (91.19 percent) and face-to-
face courses (94.45 percent).

Specific changes may include flexible or extended
deadlines for completing assignments, increased
student choice in learning activities, and more
authentic experiences, including meaningful
application of newly learned skills and knowledge; for

interactive. Most online classrooms will have a version
of the following tools. Firstly, the poll. It is a fantastic

students and families with the facilities and
resources needed to engage in and successfully

students around the world to join online
classrooms and record presentations to watch
at their most convenient time.
