Guide for Updating

Perform updata.exe, in the upgrade process. the upgrade process is over, the
software and systems will automatically be initiated once the operation, waiting on
the upgrade process of software can normally start.
the reason, in the first upgrade process is written, part of the configuration
files in the second need to upgrade the operation completed.
the phenomenon that appear only in 1.5 version upgrade process, other circumstances
would not have similar problems.

Operating system:
The following operations are only required for operating system of Windows Vista
with UAC enabled. (Refer to the help info to confirm whether UAC is enabled or not)

Operation Procedures:
Please make sure the following operations are done before double-clicking
��Update.exe��. Otherwise, the update of the configuration files will be
incomplete.
1. Displaying hidden files and protected system files
Procedures:
At ��Organize��-��Folder and search options��-��View��-��Advanced
settings��,
Set ��Hidden files and folders�� to be ��show hidden files and
folders��,
De-select the option ��Hide protected operating system files
(Recommended)��

2. Open ��System disc:\User\[User name]\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\

Mindray��,
Enter ��labinfosystem�� into the searching box followed the address bar and then
starting searching
Click ��advanced search�� at the searched results and also select ��Include non-
indexed, hidden, and system files (might be slow)
Search again, and then you may see the ��labinfosystem�� folder
Enter the foder, you may find the ��config�� folder and the ��MRCom.exe.config��
file

3. Enter the original installation directory of the data management software;

usually it is ��C:\Program Files\Mindray\��
Copy the folder and file found in procedure 2, and then overwrite the original
ones in the directory.

4. Delete all the files under the directory ��System disc:\User\[User name]\
AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Mindray��. (Important !)

5. Double-click ��updata.exe�� to update.
