Fancy suits and sarees, face full of makeup, eyes full of tears, long hugs and even
longer goodbyes. A very good morning to one and all present here and a special and
lovely good morning to my dear seniors and welcome to farewell party of 2022-23. I
must say all of you here are looking absolutely dashing and that makes us even
more difficult for us to say goodbye to you. But let us not talked about ourselves and
our emotions today. This day is all about you and your life on this campus.

It is my privilege to have known all of you and I find it my own responsibility to make
this day a memorable one for you that you will cherish for the rest of your life. In this
farewell party, we have planned some surprises games and funny awards for each
one of you so please let go of your shyness, let go of all the bad things, let go off all
the egos and enjoy this day with your friends because farewell comes only once in
your life and make this the best day of your life.

From being strangers to being strict seniors to being friends and to being brothers for
life, you guys have made our journey in this campus far more beautiful than what we
can make for our juniors. If there is a definition for a standard operating procedure on
how a senior should be and should conduct themselves, then you guys are one of
the biggest examples of how seniors in college campus should be. You guys were
full of support, full of fun and folly and at the same time, you guys are a source of
motivation and inspiration for us to achieve both academically and non-academically.
I haven’t seen any batch which is as diverse as yours and as physics ma’am used to
say “this is the worst batch I have ever seen in my life”, I am sure she would have
changed her opinion today.

Now that all of you are graduating with flying colours, I am sure in the coming few
years will be seeing some of the greatest footballers, cricketers, scientist, engineers,
actors, musicians and teachers will be sitting among us. A piece of small advice to
my classmates, take as many selfies as you can with your seniors today because
who knows where all of them will be in a few years to come.

I am sure many of you have promised me today that you won’t be crying, no matter
what. Fasten your seatbelts because we have created and curated games and
events such a way that you will be taken back to the 10-year journey of your school
life and I am sure and at the end of this evening, you will be full of tears and
emotions. It is not that I want all of you to cry, but since we will be crying after you
leave the campus alone to us, and hence as an act of sweet revenge, we will make
sure will give such a memorable experience that you will be crying to leave this
campus.

I am sorry if I have already taken long, but I would like to conclude my welcome
speech for farewell by saying that we have put our best foot forward to make this day
as best as possible. So sit back and enjoy yourself because this day will not come
back to your life again.

that this is not the end of the journey between you and me. A farewell might be the
