This work instruction explain how generate a Work Order from the other work
Application
order. Normally we used when we generate a followup WO to solve a corrective
that we have detected in a Preventive Maintenance.

Raise a followup WorkOrder

1. Raise a followup WO.


To raise a followup WO, it is necessary to have an original WorkOrder, normally when the maintenance
is made in an asset, we can find problems (corrective), to register and solve this problem, we should
raise a new workorder from our preventive workorder.
To do, we should go to our “work order tracking” and find the preventive workorder.

To raise the followup WO, we should go to the “select action” and select “create a workorder”.

Raise a followup WorkOrder


The new Workorder maintain the asset data information and it is created in status 99-WAPPR. We
should change various fields:

 Description WO field: To identify the Workorder. If our description is good, it is more easy to
know that we are solving it.

 Worktype: select CM option

 Sub-Type: select M-PG option

Priority should always be 30 working days = Priority 1

In other section of the WO tracking, we can view the original wo and if the original wo has owner, our
followup wo heredit the owner.

If we don’t need to change the Owner (view section in the WI “create a wo….”, to finish the process only
we should change the status to “60 – Work in Progress”.

NOTE: if the followup WOs amount is more that clip level include in the Fixed Price, we should complete
this followup wo and indicate in log that the corrective or repair need a Small Job.
