Position Overview

Help us build a future where everyone can truly own and manage their crypto—across
multiple chains, all in one place. Work alongside talented and dedicated engineers,
designers, and thought leaders in the crypto space.

The Product Leader will work seamlessly across workstreams and identify and execute
new opportunities that delight our customers and grow the product offering—to retain
current users, grow our user base and help identify potential new revenue streams for
the DAO. The Product Leader will also act as a knowledge hub for critical information
about our products, market, competitors, customers, partners, and other constituencies.

The ideal candidate is an analytical thinker who can gather and analyze data in
collaboration with the Product Analyst, to inform the product roadmap and identify key
areas where we need to focus our efforts in realizing the DAO's goals. You must
possess both big-picture thinking (product strategy) and attention to complex details, as
a DAO in a rapidly evolving space requires innovative solutions to new challenges.

This is a fully remote position that pays in crypto. You can work from anywhere in the
world!

What you’ll do
● Lead the product workstream and oversee monthly contributor payouts
● Collaborate with other workstreams and the community to define and get
alignment on a strategic product roadmap
● Identify product team objectives and KPIs to support broader DAO goals
● Monitor metrics to identify opportunities where metrics may fall short
● Work with designers on UX to engage and gather feedback from users through
usability testing, surveys etc
 ● Be the voice of the user, translating qualitative and quantitative insights into
valuable product recommendations
● Balance customer needs and opportunities against engineering capacity and
timelines to prioritize the most significant features and functionality to the market
● Improve our product validation process to refine product-market fit and drive
deeper engagement
● Define product requirements and ensure clear communication and coordination
of requirements to all involved teams
● Be a strong voice in the DAO community
● Oversee the design work and scheduling for updates to shapeshift.com

JOB SKILLS
● 5+ years experience in Product Management
● 3+ years demonstrated leadership ability
● 3+ years working in crypto or equivalent experience as a crypto enthusiast/degen
● Thorough understanding of Agile methodologies for streamlining projects,
prioritization, and communication.
● Able to communicate well and collaborate with passionate and opinionated
community members, workstream contributors and users
● Ability to set a strategic roadmap for the product and change course as needed
● Work across multiple teams with ease, making sure to keep the other teams up
to date on schedules, features, and testing.
● Be comfortable bringing other teams and the community into product specific
conversations as needed
● Embody a user-driven approach
● Ability to work independently, enthusiastically, and creatively.
● Proven flexibility, ability to learn quickly and adapt to change

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

● Extensive product management experience, working closely with high functioning
engineering teams
● Experience in an Agile environment with a track record of working well with cross
functional teams
● Proven track record of product launches and successful product growth
● Be entrepreneurial, driven, and passionate
 ● Demonstrated knowledge in cryptocurrency and blockchain technologies
● Experience with data visualization and analysis tools

REQUIRED TRAVEL

Nothing is required but we love people who are passionate about crypto and want to be
a voice for the DAO at global crypto events

WHAT WE OFFER YOU

● Full-time role salary $16,250 / month - (75% in USDC, 25% in FOX Tokens.
Option to earn 5-30% bonus on FOX compensation if locked for 3-18 months)
