SC Gov. Henry McMaster to speak at Anderson University Commencement Ceremony

SC Governor Henry McMaster will honor the students of Anderson University as the

keynote speaker for the school’s fall 2021 commencement ceremony.

The Governor, who has been actively serving schools in South Carolina, will honor the

Anderson student body by taking the place as keynote speaker for the commencement address.

Approximately 200 students and family will be able to hear from the governor at this event. Gov.

McMaster has helped schools statewide by doubling funding for needs-based financial aid for in-

state students to make universities more accessible.

The event will take place on the Alumni Lawn in front of the university on Saturday,

December 4, 3 p.m.. Each graduating student is allowed to bring up to six guests. Tickets for the

event can be claimed by calling the Registrar’s office at (864) 231-2120. More details about the
