    On May 10th, 2023 at around 2:37pm, the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office in Libby, Montana received a report of a body found in Flower Creek near the Libby Cemetery and baseball fields. Upon arrival, deputies discovered the deceased body of Sarina Lewis in the water near the edge of the stream. The Lincoln County Coroner was notified and responded to transport the body, while the Sheriff's Office Detectives and Libby Police Chief initiated an investigation into the circumstances of the death, which are not currently being released pending further investigation.

    Contact: Sheriff Darren Short May 11, 2023

    Flower Creek

    On May 10, 2023, at approximately 2:37 pm, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office
    dispatch received a report of a body in Flower Creek near the Libby Cemetery and
    Libby baseball fields in Libby, MT.

    Upon arrival, deputies located a deceased female, later identified as Sarina Lewis,
    in the water near the edge of the stream. LCSO Detectives and the Libby Police
    Chief also responded. An investigation was initiated, and the Lincoln County
    Coroner was notified and responded to transport Lewis.

    Circumstances of the death are not being released currently pending further
    investigation.

    Notifications were made by the Lincoln County Coroner.
