PRE-EXECUTION CHECKS
Are the latest "Good for Construction" drawings

Markings to be done with paint using thin
brush over PCC bed. Generally markings are
2 done with cement mortar as thick as 1". (This is
not advisable and this creates structural
problem at the junction)

3 Marking of wall/ Column & footing orientation

to be checked by Site Engineer before placing
the mat and wall/column in position.
Cover blocks are to be provided properly below

matt and sides.
Check for diameter, spacing and Development

length of reinforcement
Has the shuttering material been properly

aligned using appropriate equipment?
All four sides of shuttering to be fixed properly.
7 Size of the shuttering, diagonal and height of
shuttering are to be checked.

with nut &bolt system ( side supports are must )
Have markings been made on the column
