Analyzing between two world leadership

A leadership style is a leader's method of providing direction, implementing plans,

and motivating people. Various authors have proposed identifying many different
leadership styles as exhibited by leaders in the political, business or other fields. Bill
Gates and Abraham Lincoln has a different and similarity leadership style.
Washington and Lincoln became president during a time that was shaken by war, and a
time where the people were looking for guidance. President Washington helped pave
the way for the Constitution and helped write it while dealing with breaking from
Britain while Lincoln fought to uphold the Constitution. Abraham Lincoln and George
Washington had a lot in common. Both Lincoln and Washington were elected to serve
two terms as president. Both men served in the military. Both Lincoln and
Washington were succeeded in office by their vice presidents. In some ways that
Washington and Lincoln were similar was that they were both concerned for the future
of the nation, they both wanted the United States to remain united and strong for future
government rule. Washington and Lincoln impacted American history by their passion
and determination.

The leadership qualities of George Washington and Abraham Lincoln are well-known
for their impact on the history of the United States. The leadership qualities of these
two figures can be applied in today's business world to inspire and motivate
employees to achieve their full potential. Washington and Lincoln were able to
understand the struggles and challenges faced by those around them and worked to
alleviate suffering and promote well-being.

George Washington was one of the driving forces behind the drafting of the
Constitution. Meanwhile, Abraham Lincoln is credited with abolishing
slavery.George Washington was born into a well-to-do family, and lived well
throughout his life. On the other hand, Abraham Lincoln was born into a poor family.

George Washington (February 22, 1732 – December 14, 1799) was an American

military officer, statesman, and Founding Father who served as the first president of
the United States from 1789 to 1797. Appointed by the Continental Congress as
commander of the Continental Army, Washington led Patriot forces to victory in
the American Revolutionary War and served as president of the Constitutional
Convention of 1787, which created and ratified the Constitution of the United
States and the American federal government. Washington has been called the "Father
of his Country" for his manifold leadership in the nation's founding.

Abraham Lincoln (February 12, 1809 – April 15, 1865) was an American lawyer,
politician, and statesman who served as the 16th president of the United States from
1861 until his assassination in 1865. Lincoln led the Union through the American
Civil War to defend the nation as a constitutional union and succeeded
in abolishing slavery, bolstering the federal government, and modernizing the U.S.
economy.

As a visionary leader President Washington continued to be a charismatic leader who

kept the loyalty and affection of the people. He nourished this through his tours to all
the states and through innumerable public appearances.
A visionary leader ensures the vision becomes reality by stating clear goals, outlining
a strategic plan for achieving those goals and equipping and empowering each
member to take action on the plan at the organizational, team and individual levels.

One of Lincoln's great leadership traits was his sense of integrity and strong
principles. He was willing to compromise but his core principles did not change. He
inspired loyalty and dedication. Lincoln's communication skills were extraordinary.

It is the quality of honesty, truthfulness, and consistency in one's actions, regardless of

the circumstances or consequences. A leader with integrity has a strong sense of
morality and is guided by a set of values they hold dear.

As President, he built the Republican Party into a strong national organization.

Further, he rallied most of the northern Democrats to the Union cause. On January 1,
1863, he issued the Emancipation Proclamation that declared forever free those slaves
within the Confederacy.

Abraham Lincoln He also declared martial law, authorized the trial of civilians by
military courts, and proclaimed the emancipation of slaves--all on the grounds that "I
may in an emergency do things on military grounds which cannot be done
constitutionally by Congress."  In so doing, Lincoln vastly expanded presidential war
powers.

George Washington, Rising above conflicts between individual states, Washington

created an atmosphere that allowed convention members to reach the compromises
necessary to create a bold, new government. He stayed relatively quiet, allowing the
delegates to debate the foundation of the Constitution among themselves. While
Washington held the belief that America should have a strong central government and
a single executive leader, he did not allow his bias to sway the other delegates.
Washington mainly participated to keep order and provide a deciding vote on a
variety of proposals.

While Washington feared disunion, his leadership during the convention ultimately
succeeded in uniting the delegates, and the new nation, behind the idea of a new
federal government. There was no blueprint for this monumental undertaking, but it
ultimately produced one of the world's greatest political documents, the United States
Constitution.
