ANALYZE

1. How many strategies were employed by the Resource Teacher? Did these contribute
to better classroom management? Explain your answer.

According to my observations, ten of the fifteen strategies were used, and the fact
that the instructor offered these strategies helped to the improvement of classroom
management. The instructor was able to better structure the lesson and encourage more
active involvement from the students as a result of using it.

2. What were not used by the Resource Teacher? Were these important? What should
have been used instead? Explain.
Therese are the following rules that I was not able to observed from my Resource Teacher:

 Document the rules

 Take time to celebrate group efforts
 Let students work in group
 Assign open-ended project
 Write group contracts

I believe that these rules should be observed since they may still be of assistance to the
students while participating in group activities or having group discussions.

REFLECT

As a future teacher, reflect on the observations then answer the given question.
1. What classroom management strategies do I need to employ to respond to the
diverse types of learners.

In the future, while I am teaching, I want to incorporate activities in which students

work together to complete tasks related to the material we are covering. This will offer them
the opportunity to hone their skills in coordinating their efforts and cooperating with others.
It can also help them apply the lesson to a task and determine whether or not they have
properly absorbed what I have been teaching them. Last but not least, in order for them to
examine, observe, and comprehend the various types of students in the class, I may also
assign them certain performance activities to complete in groups that can be carried out
outside the classroom.
