Q1) A uniform line charge of density    

2  108 / 6 C / m lies along X-axis and a uniform sheet
of charge is located at y  5m . Along the line y  3m, z  3m the electric field intensity E has only
a z component. What is the surface charge density  of the sheet?

Q2) A uniform line of charge density   3.30 nC / m is located at x  3m, y  4m. A point charge Q
is 2m from the origin. Find the charge Q and its location such that the electric field intensity is zero
at the origin.

Q3) A circular ring of charge with radius 2m lies in the z  0 plane, with center at the origin. If the
uniform charge density is   10 nC / m , find the point charge Q at the origin which would produce
the same electric field at  0,0,5 m .
