    Conveyor Belt GRS34 – LOF72IN System Repair Plan

    The belt was snapped-off straight perpendicular to the running direction at about 200 meters from the
    Head Pulley. Both snapped-off ends are separated 125 meters. Some frame rollers are found broken.

    Ore on the belt is approximately 8000 tons.

    Temporary action plan is applying mechanical clips to join the belt.

    Challenges:

    1. Load on the belt.


    2. Distance between both ends.
    3. Wire slings to cover 125 meters length.
    4. Manpower.

    Plan:

    1. Get additional manpower from Suprabakti and Upper Oreflow Splice Crew.
    2. Prepare the slings and clips.
    3. Release counter weight.
    4. To clip the belt on the head end side.
    5. Pull the other end belt with LHD loader on the head to tail end direction.
    6. Join the belt with mechanical clips.

    It requires 48 hours minimum to complete this tasks.

    If the LHD loader is not strong enough to pull the belt, then we should reduce ore on the belt by manual
    clean up first.
