A SWOT Analysis of Athlete’s Warehouse

Strengths

1. Colin and Ed have a considerable background and experience in the sports industry.

Colin has a Ph.D. in physical education and Ed is an accomplished hockey player and runner.

Their experience in the sports field allows them to have a better understanding of their potential

customer’s needs.

2. Many local athletes and sports organizations know of Colin and Ed.

So advertisement and publicity costs can be cut down.

3. Colin owns a gym.

This allows the Power brothers to sell their products in the gym where most of their customers

will likely want to purchase their products.

Weaknesses

1. Fierce competition from similar companies that already exist.

2. Ed is skeptical about the idea because he is much older than Colin is getting ready to

retire.

3. They also do not have the right funding to pay manufacturing companies cash on

delivery.

Opportunities

1. They can sell products that are of better quality than their competitors.

2. They have a large variety of customers who are willing to pay the price for high quality

goods.

3. The location in which Athlete’s warehouse is set up is good for the business.
3

Threats
