TITLE: SCHOOL-BASED PROGRAM ORIENTATION AND TRAINING ON ACTION
RESEARCH

I. Background/Rationale
Action Research is an investigation that focuses on improving the performance
and quality of an organization. It is typically planned and carried out by practitioners who
use the data analysis to enhance their own practices. It is considered that participating
in action research has positive effects on the participant’s professional and personal
development since it teaches them to be more proactive and take ownership of making
changes. Another thing is to perform action research as a strategy to bring about
positive knowledge change in their approach to self-protection.
