Marantz Remote App

[Notes / FAQ]
1. When the app shows unstable behaviors (Suddenly Crash, Cannot find
devices), please recommend to free (Clear) memory. Terminate background
apps, restart the iDevice by shutting down/restart the power-on.
2. When Network Standby setting is Off, App cannot turn on the power after it
was turned off. Please set Network Standby = On.
3. While browsing Network files, the AVR GUI and Remote App display may be
temporarily out of sync. The app directly connects to vTuner server on the
Internet (FY12 or later models). The menu is different from AVR GUI. For
instance, Recent played, radio.Marantz.com are not displayed on the app
usually. But, according to the timing, the app reflects the AVR's GUI temporarily.
In this case, these items on the app can be seen briefly. Even in such case, they
do not prevent user operations.
4. Time Seek function is temporary suspended since it may cause to crash a
main device (Network chip device). After upgrading the device with fixing this
problem, it will be available in the future updated App again.
5. Max volume setting is for avoiding the accidental big sound. It's an
independent of the main unit's Max Volume. +/- buttons allows to set beyond the
value of the Max volume setting. This is available with FY12 AVR models only.
6. A HDMI connection between the AVR and a Blu-ray player is required for CEC
control. Some buttons of the App may not work. (FY12 or later models only)
*To use the HDMI CEC control between AVR and BD Player require to be set to
" HDMI Control = ON".
*Control commands for HDMI CEC control may be different by each Blu-ray
players. Some buttons of the App may not work.
7. The language setting of iOS is applied to the app; when the language is not
supported by the app, English is selected.
8. With FY10/11 models, User needs to do a Sign-in operation by Remote
Control and AVR GUI before the user accesses one of online services.
(Pandora/SiriusXM, Internet Radio, etc.)
9. Slideshow Interval setting is an independent value as for App. It doesn’t
synchronize with a value of the main unit's Slideshow Interval.
10. If your customer complains that Marantz Remote App needs a long time to
get content lists, please explain it comes from a limitation of a combination
between Windows Vista and Windows Media Player11. When in other general
DMC applications (e.g. DiXiM DM) with Windows Media Player11 case, it also
takes 10 seconds as a response time for BROWSE request from DMC.
