1. The document reflects on a module in urology, noting key learnings about diagnostic tests in urology, benign prostatic hypertrophy, and infections.
2. Specific difficulties encountered included visualizing urethral catheterization, understanding prostatic cancer content and TNM staging, and initially understanding a case of urinary bladder stones without imaging.
3. Overall the reflection highlights important topics learned as well as challenges in fully comprehending some complex conditions and procedures discussed in the module.

Significant learnings for the module: 1. Diagnostic modalities in urology I think this topic is really important especially to narrow down tests that a patient with a certain presentation needs especially in this kind of healthcare setting in our country. I tried my best to really read and understand the different kinds of tests because I know that this will be valuable in my future practice. 2. Benign prostatic hypertrophy I think that I’ve read a lot about benign prostatic hypertrophy since it was our primary working impression for the trigger presented in the SGD. We’ve encountered this during our level 2 lectures in pathology and I think it was nice to revisit this topic on surgical terms. 3. Infections From what I’ve read, I think these conditions should be monitored and spotted as soon as possible to avoid complications. I saw this as an important topic because of the complications it may lead to. Specific difficulties encountered: 1. Urethral catheterization for both male and female Although there were videos and materials provided, I still found it hard to visualize how to do this in an actual setting. I think we will get there with our clinics and further in clerkship but for now, this is something I found difficult. 2. Prostatic cancer The content in our textbook was quite difficult to understand and I think that some were lacking such as TNM staging. When that was asked during our quiz, I found it hard to answer. 3. Urinary bladder stones This was presented in our trigger and I found it difficult to understand since the location wasn’t specified at first. With the consequent triggers which included imaging, it was more understandable.
