This nature scavenger hunt Is designed to make children explore their environment to find the items
listed on the sheet. This is developmentally appropriate because it can be used in many ways. In the
case of toddlers, it can be used to build curiosity and explore. In the case of infants, it can be used to
build vocabulary through print and pictures. This will said in exploration of language in regards to
nature, which in turn will help them understand nature more.

them to different aspects of nature such as plants and animals. This also aids in differentiating the
physical properties of different things in nature. In the case of toddlers, they may find a certain
object more than once. This can cause them to keep track of how many times they have found a
certain object, which builds their skills in terms of numbers and quantity.

3. “Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?” Is a classic read when it comes to infants and
toddlers. This is because it is developmentally appropriate in the way that it uses descriptive
language. This book is designed to immerse children into it with it’s simple descriptions of animals.
This book can be read to the students in a classroom setting.

4. “Head Shoulders Knees and Toes” is a song/chant that offers an interactive language experience,
as the students do physical movements as they sing the song by tapping their head, shoulders,
